What animals make the best/worst pets?
There was a story of a man that did not have relatives, neither wife nor child nor brother and sister. But all he had was his dog that offered great companion. When he died, his dog visited his grave daily for 3 years without a fail and mourned there for hours. The dog earnestly yearned for him to come out of soil. How many people that claim to love us can that? Can our children mourn for us that much? The people we have fed and have benefitted from our labours may not even appreciate our efforts with equal measure we gave ourselves for them.
Human are quite selfish creature and most of their drives are for self interests. That is why when you are gone, you will be forgotten after burial ceremony, because they have no interest with dead, which is okay anyway. But we are usually betrayed by people close to us because they seek their benefits more than they need us. People are attached to us because of the benefits they get from such association. But pets like dogs and cats stick to us just because they need love and want to see us around. It is the purest form of love you can get from creatures with flesh and blood. That’s is why I will always regard dogs as the best pet ever. Dogs has been observed to risk their lives to save human kinds from danger and they could soon be named the most royal animal of all times.
Dogs make wonderful pets because they offer companionship, loyalty, and can even provide emotional support. They’re great for physical activity, social interaction, and can help reduce stress and loneliness. However, owning a dog also requires commitment, time, and resources for proper care, training, and attention. But the investment on a dog is worthy the effort.
