It Talks about a very young girl by name Kimberly Elise who is 12 years in the movie production who is raped by a Reggie known as Clifton Powell who happens to be her mother’s boyfriend Loretta Devine. Kimberly tries to explain to her mother about her ordeal but her mother does not believe her. Kimberly run away from her mother and to the streets and make drugs and prostitution her lifestyle.
While in prison, she meets Bishop T.D Jakes who takes interests in her case and visits her.
It is a movie that describes the struggles of the unfortunate members of the human race where they meet with circumstances that leads them to prisons of soul and body. Very emotional movie that talks deep into my soul.

Plot
Michelle Jordan, a former inmate, is granted probation and released to a halfway house. As one of the conditions for her probation, she attends a Church Revival where she runs into family friend Twana and an old friend from childhood named Todd. Todd is a father recently divorced from a woman named Keisha, whom everyone in high school stated had an uncanny physical appearance to Michelle. When the Bishop questions Michelle on her mother Cassey’s intentions Michelle states she is unsure, and separate flashbacks show Cassey’s life has not been pleasant either.
The story ends in sorrows just like how all our struggles in life ends in death beds.
