Ugali is a simple meal to cook. All you need is clean boiling water and a maize floor. Maize floor is made from maize plants glowing. After water has been boiled, maize floor is poured in and then stirring is done until hard and uniform white solid is formed. Maize floor is usually white though there are ugali made from Wimbi and other grains as well. Wimbi ugali, famous in western Kenya is usually brown in color. Ugali is a staple food for majority of people in Africa.
One kilogram of maize floor can serve about 4 people.
