How to prepare for cold weather

It makes a lot of difference between preparing for the cold weather and being caught unaware. so prepare adequately by doing the following.

Ensure you have right Clothing

Wear multiple layers of clothing to trap heat. Starting with a moisture-wicking base layer, add an insulating layer like a sweater or fleece and finish with a waterproof and windproof outer layer. Use hats, gloves, scarves, and thermal socks. A lot of body heat is lost through the head, so a good hat is essential. Choose insulated and waterproof boots to keep your feet warm and dry.

    Ensure your home is well-insulated, especially windows and doors, to keep the heat inside. Check that your heating system is working efficiently. Clean or replace filters regularly.
