  • Detecting of Electromagnetic waves

Electromagnetic waves are usually detected by devices or gadgets. The human eye can only detect only a small portion of this spectrum called visible light. A radio detects a different portion of the spectrum, and an x-ray machine uses yet another portion.

    Gamma Rays

Detected by photographic plates and radiation detectors like Geiger Muller Tubes.

we need a gamma spectrometer to know the energy ranges of the γ photons emitted by a radioactive source. A gamma spectrometer generally consists of a scintillation detector or a semiconductor detector to convert the γ rays into visible light or electronic signals respectively. With a multi-channel analyser, a gamma spectrum depicting the number distribution of γ photons at different energy ranges can be obtained. The γ spectrum is like the “fingerprints” of nuclides which facilitate the identification of different nuclides in a radioactive source.

By counting the rate of charge pulses or voltage pulses or measuring the scintillation of the light emitted, the number and energy of gamma ray photon striking an ionisation detector or scintillation counter can be found.

    X-rays Detection

In X-ray detectors the energy transported by the radiation is converted into forms that can be recognized visually or electronically. Generally the photons are absorbed by the detector material and energy transfer takes place by ionization.

X-rays are usually detected by using a fluorescent screen or photographic film.

In hospitals, X-rays used to observe broken bones are detected by their actions on specially designed photographic emulsions. This high energy radiation may also be detected by its ability to ionise gas atoms producing a pulse of electric current in a gas placed between two electrodes.

Geiger Muller counter using the ionisation of gas atoms detects the presence of both X-rays and gamma rays.

    Detection of Ultraviolet Radiation

It is usually detected by photographic films, photocells, fluorescent materials like quinine and sulphate and a paper slightly smeared with vaseline.

Quinine, a substance found in tonic water is sensitive to UV light and can absorb UV light that we can’t see and then re-emit visible blue light that we can see in a process known as fluorescence

A fluorescent material is one that absorbs the energy of UltraViolet light and then re-emits it as visible light.

The inner surface of a fluorescent tube is coated with a fluorescent material .The tube is filled with a gas that emits UV light when made to conduct by a high voltage.

    Visible light

Common detectors of visible light are the eye, photographic film,  charge-coupled devices (CCDs) and the photocell.

Photographic films detects light by the chemical changes it produces in light-sensitive chemicals such as silver halides. Light is also detected by the photoelectric effect in which its energy causes electrons to be emitted from metal surfaces.

By use of photoelectric effect, electrons are collected in a photomultiplier tube and the current they produce amplified to produce an electric signal.

Semiconductors are used to produce photovoltaic cells which generate a current when light falls on them and photoresistors in which incident light causes a change in electrical resistance.

  • The Dangers of Religious Control: Unveiling the Truth

    Do you practice religion?

Religion is a cage and a prison which its occupant need to emancipate themselves from .I don’t believe in religion because religion is characterized by hypocrisy, micro culture, self importance of few individuals and dying of self to the majority. Religion is an organization where many surrender their identity, aspirations, dreams ambitions and interests just to serve the narrow interest of one or few individuals whose only agenda is having control of a huge crowd of people who think nothing except being slaves to their will.

Religion specializes on control, mostly mind control where the poor followers follow strict guidelines on how to behave daily, usually set by the founder of religion

The ideas that are the foundation of religion are not usually based on sound doctrines but on self will of certain individuals with personal interests.

Religion kills people’s identity and loose their own values to follow teachings of a person that may not be authoritative in any field of knowledge but who claims to have power beyond the natural systems that we live in. This causes us to believe in imaginary hypothetical things that have zero probability of occurring in our real life. Today or in far future.

By the name of religion, people have killed others, destroyed many lives and destinies and acted irrationally.

If people are not supposed to use their brains to thin logically and irrationally then why did God gave human beings such a powerful mind , He could have given then just enough brains to know simple instructions to enable them follow religion like robots the way they do.

However God wanted people to be like him, create like him and think like him, always having a culture of love, creativity, and excellence .

God is full of excellence, in wisdom, understanding and knowledge. He has not attempted mind control on people but advocates for freedom of thoughts and power to make choices. Religion does not allow but it is set to respond ruthlessly and mercilessly towards those individuals that questions it’s doctrines.

People that defy religion are usually attacked and some killed. Some religion demands that anyone that defy the religion should be killed or be tortured. Most of religions claim eternity, but why should eternity be forced to somebody. If there was truth and good things in such religions, people could be happy and contented staying in it, but majority of religion followers are ruled by fear and intimidations because there are threats if one does not follow the religion. Religion denies people freedom in their entire existence in the world and chances to make decisions from the brain faculties given by their creator. Religion robs people of their inheritance and life causing to serve interest of the found without questioning.

But God intended to love one another, care about humanity and that all our actions be directed by love not evil passions that harm others in order to drive our agendas. He wanted us to develop culture of heaven, his dwelling place so that the earth be like heaven. That is why he gave out his son Jesus Christ, that whoever accepts him, he become a son of God and adopt His culture.

Any time you harm people because of anything like region, that thing is fake and useless.

    It is a big scam

  • The Struggle of Preservative People: A Difficulty in Letting Go

What’s the oldest thing you own that you still use daily?

Am basically preservative. I have few coins I acquired 20 years ago, because I believe old is gold.

In a world where minimalism and decluttering trends dominate, there exists a unique group of individuals who find it incredibly challenging to part with possessions—preservative people. These individuals, often sentimental and cautious by nature, have a deeply rooted reluctance when it comes to discarding items, no matter how old or worn they may be.

The struggle of preservative people highlights a complex interplay between sentimentality, practicality, and personal psychology. By understanding their attachment to possessions and adopting mindful strategies, preservative individuals can navigate the path towards decluttering with greater ease, finding peace in both preserving memories and embracing a simpler, more organized lifestyle.

The psychology behind people who are highly preservative—that is, who find it difficult to discard or let go of possessions—can be complex and multifaceted, rooted in various psychological and emotional factors. Here are some key aspects that contribute to this behavior:

few reasons behind preservative tendencies includes:

    Sentimentality and Emotional Attachment

One of the primary reasons people become preservative is due to the emotional significance they attach to objects. Possessions often represent memories, relationships, or significant life events. These items serve as tangible reminders of the past, providing comfort and a sense of continuity with one’s personal history. The emotional attachment can be so strong that the thought of discarding an item feels like losing a part of oneself or severing a connection to cherished memories.

    Fear of Loss and Regret

Preservative behavior can also stem from a fear of regretting the decision to discard something. This fear is driven by the belief that an item might be needed in the future or that disposing of it could lead to feelings of remorse or loss. This fear of potential regret can outweigh the practical benefits of decluttering or downsizing, leading individuals to err on the side of caution by keeping items rather than risking future emotional distress.

    Identity and Self-Image

For some people, possessions are intricately linked to their sense of identity and self-image. Certain items may symbolize achievements, aspirations, or values that individuals hold dear. Letting go of these possessions can feel like relinquishing a part of their identity or compromising their ideals. As a result, they may resist discarding items that reinforce their self-concept or provide a sense of security and familiarity.

    Cognitive Biases

Cognitive biases, such as the endowment effect and status quo bias, also play a role in preservative behavior. The endowment effect refers to the tendency to place higher value on items simply because they belong to oneself, making it harder to part with them. Similarly, the status quo bias inclines individuals to maintain their current state of possession rather than making changes, even if those changes may lead to a more efficient or less cluttered environment.

    Environmental Factors and Upbringing

Preservative tendencies can also be influenced by environmental factors, such as upbringing and cultural norms. Individuals who grew up in households where items were valued and preserved may internalize these behaviors as adults. Similarly, cultural attitudes towards thriftiness, sustainability, or the perceived wastefulness of discarding usable items can reinforce preservative behavior.

    Anxiety and Control

In some cases, preservative behavior may stem from underlying anxiety or a need for control. Possessions can provide a sense of stability and predictability in an unpredictable world. By surrounding themselves with familiar objects, individuals may feel more grounded and in control of their surroundings, reducing feelings of anxiety or uncertainty.

    Coping Strategies and Growth

Understanding the psychology behind preservative behavior is crucial for developing effective coping strategies. Techniques such as gradual decluttering, cognitive reframing of sentimental attachment, and seeking support from friends or professionals can help individuals navigate the process of letting go more comfortably. Ultimately, addressing preservative tendencies involves balancing the emotional significance of possessions with the practical benefits of decluttering, fostering personal growth, and adapting to changing circumstances.

  • Love, beauty and justice

    What are you passionate about?

There are three pillars that resonate deeply within the human soul: love, beauty, and justice. These foundational elements are not mere whims or desires but essential components that imbue our lives with purpose and meaning. As I reflect on why I hold these values so dearly, I am reminded of their profound significance in shaping not only our individual journeys but also the collective tapestry of humanity.

Love, the first jewel in this triad, is the essence of our interconnectedness. It is the invisible thread that binds us all together, transcending barriers of race, religion, and culture. Love nourishes the spirit, fosters empathy, and ignites the flames of compassion within us. Whether it’s the love between partners, the bond with family, or the kinship with friends, love is the foundation upon which meaningful relationships are built. It is through love that we find solace in times of adversity, draw strength from one another, and experience the profound joy of human connection.

Alongside love, there exists the breathtaking beauty of the world around us. From the awe-inspiring majesty of nature to the intricate tapestry of human creativity, beauty surrounds us at every turn. It speaks to our senses, stirring our souls with wonder and delight. In the delicate petals of a flower, the graceful arc of a rainbow, or the haunting melody of a symphony, beauty reveals itself in myriad forms, inviting us to pause, to marvel, and to be grateful for the gift of existence. Embracing beauty enriches our lives, opening our hearts to the sublime and infusing our days with meaning and purpose.

Yet, in the pursuit of love and beauty, we cannot overlook the vital importance of justice. Justice is the moral compass that guides our actions, ensuring fairness, equity, and respect for all beings. It is the cornerstone of a civilized society, upholding the inherent dignity and rights of every individual. Without justice, the world is marred by inequality, oppression, and suffering. True enjoyment of the beauty of God’s creation is only possible when our actions are just, guided by noble motives rather than selfish desires.

As I contemplate the significance of love, beauty, and justice in my life, I am filled with a deep sense of passion and purpose. These values are not mere abstractions but guiding principles that inform my thoughts, words, and deeds. They inspire me to cultivate love and empathy in my relationships, to seek out beauty in the world around me, and to advocate tirelessly for justice and equity. For it is through the pursuit of these ideals that we fulfill our highest calling as human beings, honoring the divine spark within us and contributing to the creation of a more compassionate and harmonious world.

In conclusion, love, beauty, and justice are not just luxuries or optional extras in the human experience; they are fundamental needs that resonate deeply within our souls. Embracing these values allows us to find meaning and fulfillment in our lives, guiding us on a journey of growth, connection, and service to others. Let us cherish these timeless principles and strive to embody them in all our endeavors, for in doing so, we honor the inherent dignity and worth of every living being and affirm our shared humanity.

  • Finding Joy in Every Season: A Reflection

What is your favorite season of year? Why?

There is no specific time of the year that I am more excited than others but January is same as December to me. It is not like that my joy and happiness is dictated by movement of clock and calendar. No, the joy of the Lord is my strength. I expect good things all the time, regardless of time and season. Though I enjoy sunny seasons and dislike cold seasons because seeing sunrise gives me a lot of joy.

However, Joy and happiness should not be from outside or be dictated by an environment but by who we are. If we have faith in God and not material things, then we can be happy all the time because we derive joy from our souls that has heavenly connections and not from sight of things in our lives. Our souls should be able to draw virtues from God so that we can always find joy that is not attached to anything, but is provided each morning and evening from God.

    Psalms 65:8
“They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.”

The brightness of the sun and her hit is such a nice feeling and sight. So when sun has hidden herself, I feel bad. But i cannot say that I don’t find joy in those seasons, when I get indoor, I will definitely find something to be happy about and be grateful. Because God is good all the time and not because I have everything in place all the time

So I can always be happy because I have a father who cares for me.

  • Good sleep

What’s the one luxury you can’t live without?

good sleep is fundamental to our physical health, mental well-being, cognitive function, emotional regulation, physical performance, weight management, and immune function. Prioritizing sleep and adopting healthy sleep habits can have profound benefits for overall quality of life.

Good sleep is crucial for our overall health and well-being because of the following reasons:

    Physical Health

Adequate sleep is vital for physical health. During sleep, the body repairs tissues, synthesizes proteins, and releases growth hormones. Consistently getting enough sleep helps maintain a healthy immune system, lowers the risk of chronic illnesses like heart disease, diabetes, and obesity, and supports proper functioning of the cardiovascular system.

    Mental Health

Sleep plays a critical role in mental health and emotional well-being. It’s during sleep that the brain processes emotions, consolidates memories, and restores cognitive functions. Sufficient sleep enhances mood, improves concentration and productivity, and reduces the risk of developing mental health disorders such as depression and anxiety.

    Cognitive Function

Sleep is essential for optimal cognitive function. It enhances learning, problem-solving skills, and creativity. Adequate sleep improves memory consolidation, helping us retain information better and learn new skills effectively. Conversely, lack of sleep impairs attention, decision-making abilities, and reaction times, increasing the likelihood of accidents and errors.

    Emotional Regulation

Quality sleep is closely linked to emotional regulation. It helps regulate mood and emotions, making it easier to cope with stress and maintain a positive outlook. Conversely, sleep deprivation can lead to irritability, mood swings, and heightened emotional reactivity.

    Physical Performance

Whether you’re an athlete or simply enjoy staying active, sleep is essential for physical performance. It contributes to muscle recovery, coordination, and motor skills. Athletes often experience improved speed, accuracy, and endurance with sufficient sleep, while sleep deprivation can lead to decreased athletic performance and increased risk of injuries.

    Weight Management

Adequate sleep is associated with healthy weight management. Sleep influences hormones that regulate appetite and satiety, such as leptin and ghrelin. Poor sleep disrupts these hormones, leading to increased hunger and cravings, which can contribute to weight gain and obesity over time.

    Immune Boosting

Sleep plays a crucial role in immune function and response. It helps the body fight off infections and illnesses by producing cytokines, a type of protein that targets inflammation and infection. Chronic sleep deprivation weakens the immune system, making you more susceptible to infections like the common cold and flu.

    enjoy your sleep!

    1. love, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, kindness and Meekness

If humans had taglines, what would yours be?

I believe if this was the tags everyone desired to have, then there would be no much problems in the world. Very few single mothers because family would never break and divorces would be rare. If men were always driven by love in all their relations with others, I think there would be very few street families because men won’t allow such things to happen.

If all people of the world had such characters, then governments would not need to spend billions of money annually for security purposes and ammunition. Nobody would go to kill for the sake of religion. Religion would be insignificant. Infact religion is usually fuelled by hate because people use religion to isolate others and feel better than other people. God through his son Jesus Christ said that the greatest commandment above all else is love. And with love, there is no need of laws and prophets. Religion is based on hypochrasy because they destroy poor and helpless claiming that they are holy, yet the very essence of God they claim to serve is mercy and kindness. He shows his goodness to both likable and unlikeable people.

If we had love, we would never take bribe to avert justice because love is kind. If lawyers love their clients, they won’t still from them. If we are kind and have love, we would never heart each other, physically or otherwise.

The need for judges, security personnel and prisons would be very little and everyone would be having a peaceful sleep and rest.

Matthew 22:39-40 “And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”
