  • Unveiling the Concept of Attainable Fulfillment: ‘Having It All’

What does “having it all” mean to you? Is it attainable?

In the pursuit of a fulfilling life, the concept of “having it all” often looms as an idealized pinnacle of success and contentment. Yet, as we navigate the complexities of existence, it becomes increasingly evident that true fulfillment is not merely the absence of obstacles but the ability to navigate them with grace and resilience. So, what does “having it all” truly mean, and is it attainable in a world characterized by myriad limitations?

To me, “having it all” is synonymous with the freedom to make choices that are not dictated by external constraints. It is the liberty to chat out a life that aligns with one’s passions, values, and aspirations. At its core, it incorporates the pursuit of absolute autonomy—the ability to determine one’s path irrespective of societal norms, economic pressures, or personal circumstances.

Central to this notion is the idea that “having it all” is not a destination but a journey—an ongoing process of self-discovery and self-actualization. It entails striving for a life where one’s heart guides the way, where passions are pursued with fervor, and where every decision is a reflection of one’s true desires.

However, the harsh reality of life often imposes barriers that impede the realization of this ideal. Economic constraints, for instance, can restrict opportunities and limit the scope of choice. The need to earn a living and meet basic needs can overshadow the pursuit of passions, forcing individuals into careers or lifestyles that are dictated more by necessity than by choice.

Similarly, social expectations and cultural norms can exert a powerful influence, shaping our aspirations and defining the parameters of success. The pressure to conform to predetermined roles and identities can constrain individual autonomy, making it challenging to break free from the confines of convention and pursue unconventional paths.

Moreover, personal circumstances—such as health issues, familial responsibilities, or unexpected setbacks—can further complicate the quest for “having it all.” These challenges can disrupt the pursuit of goals, forcing individuals to shelf their aspirations and adapt to unforeseen circumstances.

In light of these realities, the attainment of “having it all” may seem elusive, if not downright impossible. Yet, it is precisely in the face of adversity that the true essence of fulfillment is revealed. It is not the absence of obstacles that defines our success but our ability to navigate them with resilience and determination.

Indeed, the pursuit of “having it all” is not about escaping life’s challenges but embracing them as integral components of the human experience. It is about recognizing that true freedom lies not in the absence of constraints but in our capacity to transcend them—to find meaning and purpose even in the midst of adversity.

Ultimately, while the concept of “having it all” may remain an elusive ideal, it serves as a guiding light—a reminder of the innate human desire for autonomy, authenticity, and fulfillment. And though our lives may be constrained by myriad forces beyond our control, the pursuit of “having it all” remains a beacon of hope—a testament to the indomitable spirit of the human heart.

  • The Importance of a Pure Soul: Beyond Material Belongings

What personal belongings do you hold most dear?

When all is said and done, all we will have at the end is our souls. So maintaining a clean and pure soul is all we I need. we came in the world with nothing, we will leave with nothing. All the things we have spent time and energy acquiring will not be with us unfortunately when we are gone from the world, we carry nothing, not even our body. It is our soul alone that goes back to the LORD God that breathed life to us. But the body He made out of the soil is left just here.

If the soul is impure and contaminated with all the things that are in the world, God will not receive it back.

What makes our souls impure are the lusts of the fresh, greedy for money, pride, bitterness, malice, hatred immoral thoughts, lies, etc.

So I keep my soul because it is all that matters at the end, everything else is useless when you stop breathing. All other things we have will be taken by people left alive except our souls.

So I keep my soul by having fellowship with the creator of the universe in reading the holy scriptures and practicing good deeds and adopting the good culture that was introduced by the son of God, Jesus Christ.

Vanity of vanities are all the things of the world. For this reason, i will not take bribes to avert justices or steal at my place of work when i have an opportunity to do so without my boss discovering it. Always trying to do what is right and just to everyone.

    Do you have any collections?

A collection of things is a group of similar things that you have deliberately acquired, usually over a period of time. For example among the things i have acquired for the last 10 years includes:

If you collect things aimlessly, you may end up having a lot of junks that is not useful to you. Before expanding your collections further, define your objectives. Are you collecting for pleasure, investment, or both? Having clear goals will guide your purchasing decisions and prevent your collections from becoming overwhelming.

Develop a system for categorizing and storing your items. Whether it’s alphabetical, chronological, or thematic, consistency is key. Invest in storage solutions like shelves, cabinets, or display cases to keep your collections organized and easily accessible.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some of my personally curated collections:

From classic textbooks to cutting-edge programming guides, my collection spans various languages and disciplines. Whether you’re a novice coder or seasoned developer, there’s something for everyone in this comprehensive library.

Soul-stirring melodies and uplifting lyrics define my collection of gospel music. From traditional hymns to contemporary gospel artists, each album resonates with the power of faith and spirituality.

Entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovation take center stage in my collection of business books. Featuring insights from industry titans and thought leaders, these books offer invaluable lessons for navigating the ever-changing landscape of commerce.

Delve into the realm of numbers and equations with my collection of mathematics books. Whether you’re passionate about calculus, algebra, or geometry, there’s no shortage of fascinating concepts to explore. In the course of my study in mathematics and computer science i have collected hundreds of such books. I just wonder how many i will be able to study in the course of my days on earth.

The curiosity in me drove me to want to understand nature and physical forces governing it. From young age i have developed keen interest with physics during teenage and college years, i always picked a book with the word physics on it’s hard cover. Consequently i collected soo many of them. When i discovered internet, i downloaded hundreds of them. If money and paying of bills was not needed, i would devote 20 years of my life to study them all, reporting in my study desk every morning and leaving very late. and From quantum mechanics to relativity theory, quantum mechanics, waves, radiations, measurements, forces, electronics, atmospheric physics, science of materials. These books offer a glimpse into the fundamental forces that shape our reality which i have strived to understand since i joined school.

My first encounter with engineering was when our math teacher in college referred as to a book called ‘mathematics for engineers’. Initially i wasn’t interested very much but my curiosity was aroused in the process and i collected a couple of them from automotive engineering, mechanical, software, electronics, sound engineering and recently civil engineering. i have not read them beyond the first few pages but i hope to find time and understand what a few of them are all about. However, i understand that engineering Bridges the gap between physics theories and technological practice which i try to understand with my collection of engineering books. Covering a wide range of disciplines, from mechanical to electrical engineering, these books are essential resources for aspiring engineers and seasoned professionals alike.

Most of them gathered when i was an IT student. They range from network accessories, hard disks, CDs and DVDs, network cables, USB, rams, motherboards etc.. i thought i would use them to in future but they are becoming obsolete in the face of rapidly changing technology, both in software and hardware.

Whether you’re a hobbyist or tinkerer there are assortments of electronic components that can provide endless opportunities for experimentation and innovation.

By effectively managing these collections, I’ve cultivated a curated environment that reflects my passions, interests, and aspirations. Whether it’s delving into the intricacies of programming or finding solace in the soothing melodies of gospel music, each collection brings its own unique value to my life.

    1. Make life beautiful for us

What is the legacy you want to leave behind?

      Love, beauty and justice.

I would to teach people that the money and material things they are pursuing will all their heart is not what matters. That chasing of wealth and riches of the world is like chasing after the wind, it is vanity of vanities because at the end of your life, all you have done to accumulate wealth feel like bubble that bursts. It profit nothing to your soul, you will have emptiness in your soul because money and things does not satisfy any one.

What counts in life is the number of people that were made happier, how many lives that were saved because of your presence, what kind of relationship you created and maintained, what kind of solutions did your job or work created.

Somebody once said, “if I live a thousands years but lack happiness, am not better than still born, who did not live to see the evil works that are done under the sun. So the greatest thing you can do is to create happiness in your life that endures till your death bed and ensure you have as many people as possible that are happy for you. Don’t sell your soul to evil and wickedness but do good, because after this life, all that matters are your good deeds. Because our days on earth are short, just like a smoke. Days flies, before you know it, you r nolonger a teenager, before you discover what it means to be a youth, you are already a middle age, and before you figure out what is all about in being a father you are a grand father, yet others other caught in evil times and their lives are suddenly cut before they can fulfil their days, and they don’t live to see their dreams come true. It is a great evil and vexation of spirit, seeing that the life of man is short and full of troubles. Man experiences evil and good at equal measure, so much so that at the end, he will find nothing after him.

So what is good for the children of men? Eat what God has provided you. Be humble and help those that are in need, do not accumulate money at the expense of others.

Make life beautiful by nurturing these three things: love, beauty and justices.

Beauty is when you have excellence in all that you do.

Love is when you care and cherish people by virtual of them being human being, not because of where they come from, religious background, political affiliation, material things they posses or any of those things we consider valuable and with which we use to judge people.

Justices is when we stand for truth without considering what we are gaining or our self interests. It is when our decisions and actions are guided by greatest good rather than our narrow self interest in the things we do and decide. Justices is when we stand for the rights of the weakest people of society and poor of the land without considering positions and wealth of those that want to oppress them.

Just is when we don’t take bribe and rewards so as to influence our decisions.

The greatest legacy we can have is leaving the world much better than we found it. That can be done when we care more about the welfare of the human race than caring soo much about profits.
