What was the best compliment you’ve received?
One day I met my crush and she told me that i look sharp. I wanted to say a lot but at first my mind went blank, like an empty slate. I could not believe my ears and I must have been silent for an uncomfortable period of time because she excused herself and left before I could say anything.
I remember that day very well, i was clad in white shirt, pink tie and beige suit and a brown shoes. I must have been radiating with energy because everybody was cheerfully saying hi to me.
For a couple of days later , I kept looking for the meaning of those group of words “you look sharp” just to feel what she said. I feel like my confusion caused me the opportunity to pour out my heart because next time I saw her, I only saw her at a distance, and she was holding hands with her boyfriend:;;
